_{Two series of images and a sound installation enter into dialogue with one another, exploring different facets of non-human beings.}

Through the depiction of various skins and furs, the visual arrangements open up surfaces of projection—both for imagined corporealities and as symbols of cultural projection, in the sense described by Donna Haraway. Image Series A, based on an immanent system of order, appears potentially expandable, while Image Series B emerges as a triptych.

On the auditory level, the artist creates an immersive soundscape that incorporates historical animal recordings (in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Martin Ullrich, Interdisciplinary Music Research with a focus on Human–Animal Studies, Nuremberg) as well as machine learning techniques used to generate previously unknown animal vocalizations. Moving away from the identity-forming nomenclature of human language, the work proposes a novel form of imagined interspecies communication.

According to virology, Moreth Anhuman H2N3 belongs to the group of Moreth Anhuman VOIs (Variants of Interest).

H – 5 known subtypes: the primary protein through which the virus attaches to and enters the host cell.
N – 5 known subtypes: the secondary protein that enables the virus to exit the host cell and continue spreading.
